Global Logistics Engineer

Atlas Copco Airpower (Wilrijk) is ’s werelds meest gespecialiseerde kenniscentrum rond persluchttechnologie en het internationale hoofdkwartier van de compressorentak binnen de Atlas Copco Groep. In this position it will be your mission to contribute to the further development and optimization of the worldwide supply chain with the ambition to be and remain the competence center for outbound material flow.
You will continuously manage, review and optimize the material flows. The projects you will be managing can be situated in any domain related to the worldwide supply chain of spare parts & machines but always with a clear global orientation.

With the Airpower Service Center, being the logistics compentence center of the Compressor Technique business area, as your base you manage projects supporting, optimizing and setting up:

° inventory management systems
° supply chain models
° in- and outbound flows for parts and machines
° warehouse models

Your clients being our worldwide network of customer centers and service centers, your partners being CT's divisional Engineering, Sourcing, Aftermarket and Product departments as well as external parties, sa forwarders, suppliers, etc..

- The business travel involved in this role forms for you an added value rather then a burden.
- Experience in supply chain & logistics area and in process-analysis is a plus. This function is also open for starters.
- You have a university degree, preferably (Commercial) Engineer, Applied Economics or equivalent through experience.
- Fluent English and Flemish is required.
- You combine good social skills with a down-to-earth attitude.
- You have a broad technical interest, added to a healthy business understanding and a creative approach.
- You have strong analytical skills and the capacity to put these to work in an everyday working environment.
- You are result driven, constructive and methodological.
- You are a teamplayer but a effective selfstarter who can perform autonomously.
